5-5-3: - COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE:

A.

Required: All cycle dealers at the time of sale of a cycle shall complete a cycle registration certificate in triplicate. The certificate of registration shall bear the information required by section 5-5-2 of this chapter and such other information for which provision is made upon the registration form and shall bear the signature of the dealer and date of issuance.

B.

Distribution: The dealer shall deliver a copy of said registration certificate to the buyer, shall retain a copy for the dealer's files and shall, within thirty (30) days of the sale, furnish the original certificate of registration to the office of the city recorder.

C.

Forms: The dealer shall acquire registration certificate forms from the city bearing the requisite NCIC agency identifier numbers and registration numbers, together with the described registration insignia provided in section 5-5-4 of this chapter.
