Sec. 11-211. - Right of appeal; investigation and report by affirmative action officer.#
(a)
All aggrieved minority or women employees will be advised of their rights to appeal any suspensions, demotions, transfers or discharges, in accordance with section 11-70.
(b)
In cases where discrimination is alleged, the affirmative action officer shall conduct a personal investigation and shall report such findings to the mayor and personnel hearing board for a judgment within the currently specified time period.
(c)
All complainants shall be informed of their legal prerogative to appeal any grievance decision to the appropriate agency or the courts for remedy by due process as further stipulated in this Revision.
