Sec. 30-38. - Authorized rubbish disposal.

(a)

Rubbish and recycling shall be deposited in 65- or 95-gallon containers provided by the city and bearing the city seal and shall at all times have a secure cover and/or the lid closed. There shall not be overflowing rubbish or recycling nor trash bags on the ground nor any items improperly placed next to the garbage and recycling containers.

(b)

Any violation of this section may be subject to the $100.00 fine outlined in section 30-31(b)(7) or up to a $500.00 fine for subsequent offenses.
