What it does
(1) Existing law provides for the licensing and regulation of pilots for the Monterey Bay and the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun, by the Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun in the Transportation Agency. Existing law establishes pilotage rates and surcharges that are paid to licensed pilots by vessels piloted in those bays. Existing law establishes those pilotage rates and surcharges, and provides for changes to them based on the number of pilots licensed by the board and recommendations by the board to the Legislature.
