What it does
(1) Existing law, on or before July 1, 2014, requires the governing board of each school district and each county board of education to adopt a local control and accountability plan that includes, among other things, a description of the annual goals to be achieved for certain state priorities for all pupils and each identified subgroup of pupils, as specified. Existing law includes among the state priorities school climate, measured as specified. Existing law requires the governing board of each school district and each county board of education to update its local control and accountability plan on or before July 1 of each year.
