What it does

Existing law requires the Department of Justice to maintain state summary criminal history information, as defined, and requires the Attorney General to furnish state summary criminal history information to specified entities and individuals, including an authorized entity for employment, licensing, or certification relative to community care facilities, residential care facilities, and other specified health facilities. Existing law requires the department to provide the requester with every conviction of an offense rendered against the applicant, except for a conviction for which relief was granted to a victim of human trafficking, as specified.
