What it does
Existing law establishes the California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant Program, administered by the State Department of Education, with the purpose of encouraging, maintaining, and strengthening the delivery of high-quality career technical education programs. Existing law appropriates specified amounts for the program from the General Fund for the 2015–16, 2016–17, and 2017–18 fiscal years. Existing law provides, for the 2018–19 fiscal year and every fiscal year thereafter, that $150,000,000 is made available for the program upon appropriation by the Legislature.
