Exempts railway tunnels and bridgesowned by the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority from the Uniform StatewideBuilding Code and the Statewide Fire Prevention Code Act. The billrequires the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority to report annuallyto the State Fire Marshal on the maintenance and operability of installedfire protection and detection systems in its railway tunnels andbridges.
