What it does
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that companion animals are not included in the definition of "wildlife". Provides that it is unlawful for anyone holding a nuisance wildlife control permit to drown, burn, or use any unacceptable agents as a method of euthanasia. Provides that the Department may authorize owners and tenants of lands or their agents to remove or euthanize (instead of destroy) any wild bird or wild animal known to be destroying property or causing a risk to human health or safety. Provides that animals that cause property damage or pose a risk to human health or safety shall be given to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, released on site, relocated or humanely euthanized.…
