What it does

Existing law establishes the Acupuncture Board to administer and enforce the Acupuncture Licensure Act and requires each acupuncturist to complete 50 hours of continuing education every two years. Existing law requires a provider of continuing education to apply to the board for approval to offer continuing education courses and to be monitored by the board.
