What it does

The Planning and Zoning Law, among other things, generally requires that an action or proceeding challenging specified actions of a public agency under that law be commenced, and service made on the legislative body of the agency, within 90 days after the legislative body's decision. That law establishes longer limitations periods in the case of specified actions that meet certain requirements, including that the action is brought in support of or to encourage or facilitate the development of housing that would increase the community's supply of affordable housing.
