What it does
The act transfers $1,000,000 from the general fund to the capital construction fund for use by the department of natural resources to develop infrastructure to open a state park on the property surrounding Fishers Peak. The parks and wildlife commission is instructed to seek, accept, and expend gifts, grants, or donations from private or public sources for the purposes of developing and improving Fishers Peak state park. By December 1, 2020, the commission will submit a report to the general assembly detailing state park funding needs and shortfalls.
