What it does
Existing law, the California Factory-Built Housing Law, provides for the regulation of factory-built housing, as defined, by the Department of Housing and Community Development and requires, among other things, that all factory-built housing sold or offered for sale to first users within this state bear the insignia of approval issued by the department.
