What it does
Existing provisions of the California Constitution establish the University of California as a public trust under the administration of the Regents of the University of California. The University of California (UC) system includes 10 campuses, which are respectively located in Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz.
