SJR 78 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, makes various changes to the General Assembly.\r \r REDISTRICTING COMMISSIONS\r \tUnder current law, there are two commissions charged with redistricting the General Assembly, one for the House of Representatives and one for the Senate. This amendment changes this to only one commission for both the House of Representatives and the Senate, known as the General Assembly Independent Bipartisan Citizens Commission.
