What it does
Existing law requires the State Air Resources Board to submit to the Legislature a report with policy recommendations for increasing the use of light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles in the state that includes, among other things, recommendations as to how vehicle fleet operators can increase the number of zero-emission vehicles in vehicle fleet use. Existing law creates the California Clean Truck, Bus, and Off-Road Vehicle and Equipment Technology Program to fund development, demonstration, precommercial pilot, and early commercial deployment of zero- and near-zero-emission truck, bus, and off-road vehicle and equipment technologies, with priority given to projects…
