What it does

This measure would designate the Sacramento River Bridge (#6-14) located on State Highway Route 273 as it crosses the Sacramento River into downtown in the City of Redding as the Redding Police Officer Owen "Ted" Lyon Memorial Bridge. The measure would request the Department of Transportation to determine the cost for appropriate signs showing this special designation and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering that cost, to erect those signs.
