A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE BELIEF OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES THAT DOMINION ENERGY, INC., NOW THAT ITS PURCHASE OF THE SCANA CORPORATION HAS BEEN APPROVED, SHOULD HONOR ITS FIRST REPRESENTATIONS TO RATEPAYERS AND PAY THEM THE AVERAGE ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR REFUND OF CHARGES PAID BY THEM IN REGARD TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NOW ABANDONED NUCLEAR REACTORS AT JENKINSVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, AND TO ALSO EXPRESS THE BELIEF OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES THAT IF DOMINION FAILS TO HONOR IN GOOD FAITH THIS OBLIGATION, THE SOUTH CAROLINA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, AS PART OF FUTURE RATE PROCEEDINGS, SHOULD REQUIRE DOMINION TO DO SO.
