What it does
Existing law requires the Instructional Quality Commission to recommend curriculum frameworks to the State Board of Education. Existing law requires the commission to develop, and the state board to adopt, modify, or revise, a model curriculum in Native American studies to ensure quality courses of study in Native American studies.
