What it does
Amends the Freedom of Information Act and the Department of Public Aid Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that every manufacturer or labeler of prescription drugs dispensed in this State that employs, directs, or utilizes marketing representatives must report the manufacturer or labeler's advertising costs for prescription drugs, based on aggregate national data, to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. Provides that the purpose of the reporting is to assist the State in its role as a purchaser of prescription drugs and an administrator of prescription drug programs.
