What it does

The Gambling Control Act provides for the California Gambling Control Commission, consisting of 5 members appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate. Under existing law a majority of the commission members is a quorum and the concurring vote of 3 members of the commission is required for any official action.
