What it does

(1) Existing law, the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act, regulates and licenses the cultivation, dispensing, distribution, manufacturing, testing, and transportation of medical cannabis through various state agencies, including, among others, the Bureau of Medical Marijuana Regulation, the Department of Food and Agriculture, and the State Department of Public Health, and authorizes the bureau to adopt rules to carry out the provisions of that act, as specified.
