What it does

Provides that, upon request by certain youth membership organizations (organization), a public school shall provide, at least one time each school year, a day and time, which may be during the school day as approved by the public school, for the representative of the organization to provide information to students on school property. Requires a public school to conduct expanded criminal history checks of representatives of organizations. Requires, not later than November 1, 2022, and not later than November 1 each year thereafter, the department of education (department) to report to the general assembly information regarding the pass rate of students who took the naturalization examination…
