What it does
Amends the Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act. Provides that an employee may take unpaid leave from work for specified reasons relating to a family or household member who is killed in a crime of violence. Provides that an employee shall be entitled to a total of not more than 2 workweeks of unpaid leave for specified reasons relating to a family or household member who is killed in a crime of violence, which must be completed within 60 days after the date on which the employee receives notice of the death of the victim.
