What it does
Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Defines "concealment" for purposes of the obstructing justice statute. Defines "concealment" as hiding evidence in a manner that makes its recovery substantially more difficult or impossible. Effective immediately. Senate Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with this change: changes "concealment" to "conceal".
