What it does
Existing law, the Automotive Repair Act, provides for the registration and regulation of automotive repair dealers, as defined. Existing law requires an automotive repair dealer to record all work done by the dealer on an invoice and to describe all service work done and parts supplied. A violation of the act is a crime.
