What it does
Existing law, the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Act of 1991, establishes the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (Program) , which is administered by the State Department of Public Health. Existing law requires the department to collect and analyze information to monitor appropriate case management efforts, to prepare a biennial report on the effectiveness of those efforts, and to post the report on the department's internet website.
