What it does

Existing law establishes specified requirements applicable to contracts entered into by state agencies, including, among other things, that a contractor certify that no apparel, garments, corresponding accessories, equipment, materials, or supplies furnished to the state pursuant to a contract has been laundered or produced by various unauthorized and exploitive labor conditions, such as sweatshops, as prescribed.
