11-2-1: - GAS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM RIGHTS-OF-WAY ORDINANCE:#
The city has adopted in title 7, chapter 4 of this code, the standard that a permit is required as the basis for issuance of a gas line and established the authority to direct the relocation of structures in public rights-of-way.

11-2-2: - PUBLIC UTILITY COMPANY DEFINED:#
As used in this chapter, "public utility company" means any company subject to the jurisdiction of the Utah state public service commission, or any mutual corporation providing gas, electricity, water, telephone or other utility product or services for use by the general public.

11-2-3: - FRANCHISE AGREEMENTS:#
A.
Questar Gas Company: The city has granted to Questar Gas Company a nonexclusive franchise agreement for the construction, operation and maintenance of a gas distribution system within the city. Said franchise was granted by the adoption of ordinance 839, August 20, 2013. Said franchise agreement is on file in the office of the city recorder. The whole thereof is hereby referred to, adopted and made a part of this chapter as if fully set out herein.
