Sec. 7.06.010 - Billing procedures.#

1.

The city treasurer, or designee, shall send a written statement to each account for city provided services, which services may include culinary water service, sewer service, solid waste collection service, and all other services that the city collects payment for or provides. The statement shall also include all accrued late fees, costs, and penalties. The statement shall also include all fines and charges imposed by the city, if such fine or charge is attributable to the person or property associated with the account.

2.

The statement shall be a single statement with only one account per property, to be billed to the record owner of the property, regardless of whether the property is owner occupied or renter occupied. The statement shall include all charges applicable to the property and shall separately specify the amount of the bill for each service or charge.

3.

Payment of the charges for city provided services shall be accepted only when the charges for all the services are paid at the same time, to the extent allowed by Utah law. Partial payments will be credited to the oldest outstanding balance/amount. Acceptance of partial payments shall not constitute a waiver or release of any unpaid charges and shall not prevent the account from being deemed delinquent.
