Sec. 5.18.010. - Motion picture productions.#
1.
All motion picture or commercial filming operation in Kamas City must obtain a license and pay a license fee of $1,000.00 per production or event.
2.
The use of off-duty city employees may be negotiated at rate acceptable to the employee. All off-duty employees must obtain council approval prior to accepting employment with the filming operation.
Note: All licenses in this chapter may require other planning department fees and/or permits.

Sec. 5.18.020. - Special event permit.#
1.
A special event permit will be required if your event:
a.
Will interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic (occurs on city streets or right-of-way); or
b.
Takes place on any property within Kamas City limits.
2.
Application fee: $50.00
a.
A $100.00 per day fee will be required for all events. If any special event requires a City staff or support person to be present, the cost of service will be billed at $125.00 for police, public works, and Administration, per hour, per staff person with a four-hour minimum.
All other costs (calls, faxes, etc.) will be charged cost plus 30 percent.
South Summit School District will be exempt from these fees upon approval from the city council.
Note: All licenses in this section may require other planning department fees and/or permits. Refer to the current Kamas City Business License Ordinance if applicable.
