The text
(a)
The compensation and/or benefits of the judge of the municipal court and/or the clerk of the municipal court shall be set by the town council, through ordinances of the town council, as it shall deem appropriate and necessary.
(b)
The compensation and/or benefits of the judge of the municipal court and/or the clerk of the municipal court may be increased and/or otherwise adjusted by ordinance of the town council as it shall deem appropriate and necessary.
