Sec. 2-24. - Adoption of annual city budget.

The public hearing on the proposed annual budget pursuant to section 5-4 of article V of the City Charter shall conclude no later than June 1 each year. Voting by the city council on adoption of the annual budget shall not take place for at least one calendar day but no more than three calendar days after the conclusion of the public hearing.
