Animal control fines and fees shall be as follows: (1)
Fees.
Impoundment fees: First offense .....$10.00
Second offense .....25.00
Third offense .....50.00
Board fees: First offense, per day .....5.00
Second offense, per day .....10.00
Third offense, per day .....15.00
Euthanasia fee, cats and dogs: Charge would be determined according to the weight of the animal per pound, based on the current fee charged to the city at the time of the service.
Turn-in fees: Dogs .....30.00
Cats .....25.00
Miscellaneous. If the animal's safety is at risk and the owner of the animal does not have the money to pay the turn in fee, the turn in fee may be reduced and/or eliminated as circumstances warrant.
Pups and kittens .....5.00
Cremation fee, per animal .....20.00
License fee .....$9.00 and $1.00 for State Sterilization Fund.
