Any person who shall stand, sit or remain on or near any highway, bridge, sidewalk, crosswalk or doorstep or in any doorway in the compact part of the town to the obstruction, hindrance, delay, disturbance or annoyance of passersby, or persons doing business in the vicinity thereof or of the owner of adjacent premises, shall be punished in accordance with section 1-8.
