Acts 1970, page 666, chapter 157: An Act providing for a joint enterprise between the City of East Providence and the Town of Barrington for a sewerage treatment facility.

Acts 1971, page 1014, chapter 288: An Act providing for improvements to the City of East Providence sewer system and the financing thereof and authorizing East Providence to enter into agreements with Barrington for the treatment or disposal of sewage or wastes and to issue not exceeding $2,000,000 bonds for sewer purposes.
