Sec. 8-472. - Permit to place wires.

No wires shall be placed or maintained in, over or under any street, square, lane, alley or highway in the city without the permission of the mayor or until the person placing or maintaining such wires shall have filed with the city clerk a written agreement accepting and promising to abide by and perform all the conditions and provisions of this article and of all ordinances or orders in amendment of or in addition thereto that may be hereafter enacted.
