Sec. 4-18. - Electrical permits.

(a)

The following schedule of fees shall be charged for the issuance of electrical permits for the installation or repair of all types of electrical installation. Such schedule of fees for permits shall be based on the cost of electrical equipment, materials and labor used for the installation or repair of any electrical project.

Valuation Fee Limits

(1)

$1.00 to $1,000.00 .....$75.00

(2)

Each additional $1,000.00 after $1,000.00 to $11,000.00 .....10.00

(3)

Each additional $1,000.00 after $11,000.00 .....9.00

(b)

All plants, factories, mills, machine shops and other commercial or industrial establishments employing electricians shall obtain an annual permit at a cost of $100.00 per year.

(c)

All persons applying for temporary permits for the installation of electrical systems for circuses, carnivals, used car lots, etc., shall obtain a temporary permit at a cost of $100.00 for each permit.
