Sec. 2-230. - Purpose.#
The division of code enforcement shall enforce the state building code, the city's zoning ordinance and the ordinance providing for minimum housing standards for housing and such other matters as may be appropriately assigned to it.

Sec. 2-231. - Appointment of director.#
The mayor, with the approval of a majority vote of the council, shall appoint the director of code enforcement as required to enforce the functions, powers and duties of the division of code enforcement.

Sec. 2-232. - Fence viewers.#
The director of code enforcement shall perform all duties prescribed to fence viewers by the law of the state.
