Sec. 12-9. - Administrative approval pending board action.

The clerk may grant up to a 30-day administrative approval for any business license subject to approval by the city council sitting as the board of license commissioners in the Code of Ordinances. Such administrative approval shall be subject to final approval, denial or continuance by the city council sitting as the board of license commissioners.

Editor's note— An ordinance adopted Dec. 9, 2019(1), repealed the former § 12-9, and enacted a new § 12-9 as set out herein. The former § 12-9 pertained to vacant or abandoned commercial storefronts and derived from an ordinance adopted Jan. 8, 2018(2).
