Sec. 12-2. - Business hours restricted.

No shop, store, place of trade or entertainment or place of business in the city shall be kept open between 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. unless otherwise provided or as approved by the city council; however, pharmacists and assistant pharmacists may open their shops at any time for the purpose of selling medicines for the use of the sick and, further provided, that the public hours of regulated cannabis establishments, including, but not limited to, compassion centers and cannabis retailers, shall be Mondays through Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
