Sec. 16-272. - Committee to file rules with council and post notices.#
The school committee shall file its vehicle regulations, as amended from time to time, with the town council. In addition, the school committee shall post appropriate notices designed to inform vehicle operators of area restrictions or prohibitions.
(Code 1972, § 11-53)
Sec. 16-273. - Enforcement of article.#
It shall be a violation to use or park any vehicle contrary to regulations established by the school committee. The police department, under its authority to enforce this chapter, shall ticket vehicles violating this article and impose fines as set forth in this chapter.

Sec. 16-274. - Vehicles parking in school fire lanes subject to additional fees.#
If any vehicle violates this article by parking in a fire lane which is prohibited to parking, in addition to issuing a parking violation ticket and fine, the police department is authorized to remove and have towed away any such vehicle illegally parked. Vehicles so towed shall be stored in an appropriate place and returned to the owner or operator upon payment of the parking fine, plus charges for towing and storage.
