Sec. 16-111. - Speed limits.#
It is hereby ordained that the motor vehicle speed limit on the following streets shall be limited to the maximum indicated for each street, and signs shall be posted accordingly:
Asylum Road, Bristol Town Beach, 10 mph.
Dimond Avenue, 15 mph.
Everett Street, 20 mph.
Herzig Street, 15 mph.
Naomi Street, 20 mph.
Paine Avenue, 15 mph.
Perry Street, 20 mph.
Platt Street, 15 mph.
Sherry Avenue, 20 mph.
Sunnyside Avenue, 15 mph.

Sec. 16-112. - Through streets designated.#
The following streets are hereby designated as through streets and all streets coming into them are stops:
Aaron Avenue from Hope Street to its termination;
Annawamscutt Drive from Metacom Avenue to King Philip Avenue;
Bayview Avenue from Wood Street to Metacom Avenue and from Wood Street to High Street;
Beach Road from Hope Street to Narragansett Bay, except for a stop intersection at Roger Avenue;
Berry Lane from Prenda Lane to Edmond Lane;
Brookfarm Road from Hope Street to its termination;
Butterworth Avenue from Metacom Avenue to its termination;
Buttonwood Street from State Street to Franklin Street and from Franklin Street to Bayview Avenue;

Sec. 16-113. - Stop required before entering throughways.#
Every operator of a vehicle traveling upon any street intersecting or joining any street designated as a throughway shall bring such vehicle to a full stop at or near the place where such street meets the prolongation of the nearest property line of such throughway, subject to the direction of any traffic control sign or signal or any police officer at such intersection or junction. The operator of any vehicle who has come to a full stop as required upon entering the throughway, as well as the operators of any vehicles on such throughway, shall be subject to the usual right-of-way rule prescribed by law and applicable to vehicles at intersections or junctions.

Sec. 16-115. - Driving on sidewalks.#
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive the vehicle on any sidewalk, except for the purpose of crossing the sidewalk when necessary, and then only in the shortest way between the street and the abutting estate.

Sec. 16-116. - Driving on Bristol Common and parks and playgrounds.#
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive the same upon the Bristol Common and all parks and playgrounds except in designated areas.

Sec. 16-117. - Driving through processions.#
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive between or attempt to cut across the line of a hearse and other vehicles and pedestrians constituting a funeral procession, or other duly authorized processions.

Sec. 16-118. - Driving on streets closed to traffic.#
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive over that part of any street being mended, repaired or paved, if wholly closed to travel.

Sec. 16-119. - No through commercial and/or industrial trucks.#
Commercial and/or industrial trucks are prohibited from through passing on the following streets: Christopher Drive.
Herzig Street.
Through trucking is prohibited on Washington Street between High Street and Monroe Avenue.
