5.61.030 - Commercial cannabis businesses prohibited unless specifically authorized by this chapter.

Engaging in, conducting or operating commercial cannabis businesses, or causing, allowing, permitting or maintaining a commercial cannabis business, within the city's jurisdiction, shall be unlawful and prohibited, except as specifically authorized in this chapter. Notwithstanding the explicitly allowed commercial cannabis businesses under this chapter, "retailer-storefronts " as defined within this chapter, (i.e., storefront retailers that are open to the public, and that are commonly known as "dispensaries") are explicitly prohibited in the City of Commerce.
