10.12.100 - Penalties.

(a)

Pursuant to vehicle code Section 40200 et seq., which establishes a system of administrative adjudication, stopping, standing or parking vehicle violations are subject to an administrative fine or penalty (i.e., parking citation). Otherwise, all offenses shall be subject to the penalties pursuant to Chapter 1.12 of this code.

(b)

Pursuant to Section 40202(a) of the vehicle code, parking citations are issued by the city's law enforcement agency officers and those persons designated in this title as authorized to enforce traffic and parking laws and regulations.
