What a yes vote does
Abolish partisan primaries for federal and state offices. Have an open primary regardless of party affiliation. The top five candidates then advance to the general election. Voters rank these five candidates in the general election. The candidate with more than 50% of votes is declared the winner. This ballot measure will have to be approved again in the 2024 General Election for the Nevada Constitution to be successfully amended.
